Northumberland
New-build Farmhouse
Concept Design, Planning Permission, Building Regulations, Contract Administration

A 145 acre farm development in Northumberland.

The proposals include all new infrastructure, access roads and barns, as well as a rewilding scheme and wildlife pond. More than 2500 native species trees will be planted across the site.

The proposals include a new-build sustainable house that includes Passivhaus design detailing, renewable technology, and full building management systems.
The dwelling is simple in form but has been developed to work with the landscape and capture its beauty with intricately placed picture windows and accommodation zoned with the movement of the sun.
The home includes fine architectural details and features, with cut stone, exposed glue laminated timber rafters in dynamic double height spaces and well-crafted interiors. A refined material palette of local stone and timber, clay plaster and zinc roofing will make this home something very special.
