Morpeth

Dwelling

Extension, Structural alterations

and Contract Administration

A rear extension to a property in Morpeth, constructed using slate and stone to perfectly match the existing building, while featuring contemporary glazing to create a bright, light-filled sunroom for the client. The project was managed comprehensively from RIBA Stages 1-6, including all contract administration, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for the client.

As the client frequently worked away and had minimal involvement in the day-to-day management of the project, I acted as the sole point of contact, coordinating all aspects from start to finish. This included arranging consultants such as the structural engineer and managing necessary planning requirements, including bat surveys, as well as overseeing all contractors and suppliers. The client was overjoyed with the final result, particularly with how effortlessly the project was handled in their absence, resulting in a beautifully crafted extension that exceeded their expectations.
